Safety Solution’s engineering consultants have a combined experience of over 150 years across several industries. Many of our consultants are fellows of professional engineering organisations. Safety Solutions also has certified TÜV functional safety engineers who are experienced facilitators and designers.
Paul has over 25 years of global experience in the Refining, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Dairy and Mineral Processing Industries. Paul is an experienced process safety facilitator, trainer, auditor, and management consultant in the area of process safety. He is a fellow of ICHEME, a professional process safety engineer, and a TÜV certified functional safety engineer.
Ross has a Masters in Control Systems Engineering and is a member of the IET. Ross is experienced in alarm management, functional safety, facilitator and trainer. He is a TÜV certified functional safety engineer.
Peter has over 35 years of experience in technical and management roles in the electricity generation and energy industries. Peter is a chartered member of Engineering New Zealand, and a member of the Institute of Directors and the Project Management Institute. He is a TÜV certified functional safety engineer.
Mohammad has a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and has more than 20 years of experience in the field of process safety, risk assessment and loss prevention. He has worked as lead technical process safety and risk engineer in numbers of mega projects in middle east, Europe and Africa.
Jonathan graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a Foundation degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2007. Originally from the UK, he worked as a Weapons Maintenance Engineer for ten years in the Royal Navy. He moved to New Zealand and advanced his experience in generation, distribution, maintenance and management roles in the Geothermal Industry. He is also an associate member of IChemE.
Jon has good knowledge of site operation, maintenance, management, and regulations including Major Hazard Facilities and Health and Safety at Work Act.
Joe has over 35 years of process experience in the oil and gas sector and has considerable knowledge in process design, hazardous area classification, process safety and concept development. He has chaired numerous safety reviews and is considered an authority on hazardous area classification. He is a fellow of ICHEME.
Process Safety Engineer
Matthew completed his Bachelor of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the University of Auckland. Matthew specialises in the area of consequence modelling, alarm management, safety assessments and process control. He is an associate member of IChemE.
Graduate Process Safety Engineer
Finn graduated from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Chemical and Process Engineering. He has experience in the area of safety assessments and safety case development.
Jana has a Bachelor degree in Business Management. She immigrated from Germany 19 years ago and since then has worked in a multitude of management and administration roles within the customer service, education and hospitality sector.
Garry has over 20 years’ experience in plant operations, project design, process safety, functional safety, major hazard safety assessment, onshore and offshore safety cases, risk assessment and loss prevention engineering. This includes working for several international O&G operators at oil refineries, gas plants and offshore platforms.
He is a fellow of ICHEME, a professional process safety engineer, and a TÜV certified functional safety engineer.
The IChemE Safety Centre is a not-for-profit multi-company, subscription-based, industry consortium, focused on improving process safety. They share, analyse and apply safety-related thinking.
