Velocity EHS Risk Management Training
This course covers key aspects of using and administering Velocity EHS Risk Management Software for the purposes of implementing, operating and maintaining integrated risk management and control assurance framework. Velocity EHS Risk Management Training is an integrated cloud-based platform for all risk management activities. It provides all the functionality required by both risk managers and practitioners at any skill level as well as all other staff involved in control assurance, action tracking and data analysis.

User training is split into two core parts: Super User Training and Administrator Training. Each course focuses on specific responsibilities and system capabilities, as outlined below:
Super user training
This training is designed for users who create, edit, and manage worksheet studies such as HAZOPs and PHRs, as well as bowties, verifications, and actions. Typically, participants complete this training over 8 hours.
The course will cover the following topics:
- Site access and general navigation
- Building and managing worksheet studies
- Building and editing simple bowties
- Bowties with calculations – qualitative and semi-quantitative
- Advanced features of bowties
- Master and site bowties
- Action management
- Base/critical controls and control assurance
- Setting up verification templates and closing out verification activities
- Reporting and dashboards
Administrator training
Administrator training supports users responsible for site administration and configuration. Before attending this course, participants must complete the Super User Training. This session typically takes 4 hours.
Minimum of 3 / Maximum of 12 attendees for each session.
The course will cover the following topics:
- Managing users and their permissions
- Items editable by an administrator
- Editing the terminology
- Editing the site configuration settings
