This Process Safety Foundations course will help you to develop your understanding of the key principles of process safety and its management. It will benefit anyone involved in the design, operation, modification or maintenance of major hazard or other process plant who would like to develop or refresh their process safety knowledge across the lifecycle of an operating facility. The course uses a mix of interactive exercises and workshops, case studies and theory to examine the functional areas key to managing process safety across an organisation.

Structure and Content

The course agenda is as follows:

  • Preparation (2 days). To get all trainees up to speed on the basics of process safety, all participants must complete our 3 included E-Learning modules;
  • Face to Face (3 days). This is taught in a traditional classroom environment and covers the following content:

  • Post-course online 1-on-1 discussion (30 mins). This is an opportunity for the trainee to discuss how they have applied their learnings in their workplace.
